Leshnoff Violin Concerto
with Charles Wetherbee, violin
Hailed by Baltimore Sun music critic Tim Smith as "Radiantly lyrical and remarkably assured," Leshnoff's Violin Concerto has been consistently greeted by standing ovations nationwide. Also on the program in Beethoven's Symphony No. 2 and Elgar's Serenade.
This performance takes place at Harold J. Kaplan Concert Hall, Towson University

Eileen Ivers, a Celtic fiddler and former musical star of “Riverdance,” captures the spirit and magic of the season in her heartwarming holiday show - An Nolliag – An Irish Christmas.
This performance will take place at the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore.

A Pleyel Celebration with David Perry, violin, and Victoria Chang, viola
This evening we present two charming concerti by Pleyel—the most famous composer in Europe following the death of Haydn—along with the dynamic Madrigals for violin and viola by Martinu. David Perry will be joined by violist Victoria Chiang-Thakar, wife of BCO music director Markand Thakar. Be with us for this special evening, which is being recorded for release on the Naxos label.

This sensational season finale features Nancy Allen, the “first lady of the American harp,” performing Alberto Ginastera's brilliant Harp Concerto, plus the fabulous Peabody Children's Chorus in a performance of the music from Mendelssohn's Midsummer Night's Dream. An all-time favorite!
